ABOUT US
The motivation to form a nonprofit entity for the activities undertaken at TMW was the result of many years of mission work in places like Honduras, Guatemala, Mexico, Jamaica, and serving on a local church mission committee and simply seeing the need that exists and meeting those needs as efficiently as possible. Upon returning from Honduras in 2003, Chris Kibler and Rhett Magnon felt led to get the process started.
After researching the requirements, consulting others as to the feasibility and pooling the required start up capital TMW has become a reality. Our efforts include trips to areas of Latin America and the Caribbean. We perform services in the areas of construction, public safety, medical, humanitarian and cultural exchange.
January 1, 2004 TMW was formed as a non-profit corporation, organized under the laws of the state of Mississippi
July 12, 2004 an application (1023) was filed with the IRS for recognition of tax exemption
January 21, 2005 our letter of determination from the IRS was issued stating that we had been approved as a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization (DLN 17053198034014). This status will permit us to receive deductible donations from the general public (subject to certain regulations, consult your tax advisor for details concerning your specific tax situation).
