Money was raised to send a motorcycle to Mateo, the Garifuna evangelist that worked with the group on the June, 2003 trip to Trujillo, Honduras.

He really liked the plane, but we decided that a motorcycle would be a better fit for his ministry.  A 1999 Yamaha XT225 Enduro with 12,000 miles that gets 70 mpg (fuel down there is about $4/gallon) was purchased and sent to Honduras.  This bike is in excellent condition and will make ideal transportation for Mateo. 

The bike was purchased locally (Biloxi) from an individual for $1,100 and shipped at no charge via Dole from the Port at Gulfport.  Another $550 was needed to pay the import duty and registration fees that were charged.
